Friday Night Flag Football - Under the Lights - Spring 2023

The Funsports Friday Night Flag Football - Under the Lights league is for Boys and Girls. The league features multiple divisions (PeeWee, Rookie, Junior, Senior, and Pro) covering grades from Kindergarten through High School.

Season kick-off: April 21, 2023

The league is based on individual registration and parents volunteering as coaches. A registered coach can submit a team of no more than 10 players. The league reserves the right to add players to a roster. Except for the PeeWee division, all divisions have a maximum roster of 12 kids and three coaches (parents). The maximum roster size for the PeeWee division is 14 and 4 coaches (parents).

Game Format:

  • PeeWee Division - 7 on 7
  • Rookie, Junior, Senior Divisions - 6 on 6
  • Pro Division - 5 on 5

Funsports offers a sibling registration discount for the first sibling and the third sibling or more play free.

Frequently Asked Questions
  • Is this a co-ed league?: Yes, Funsports Friday Night Flag Football is available to both girls and boys. Co-ed and all boy and all girl teams will compete against each other.
  • What equipment does my player need?: It is mandatory to wear a mouthguard at the clinic and game. Non-metal cleats are recommended for turf and grass fields. An NFL sponsored flag football jersey / flag belt are provided to all players.
  • Who coaches the team?: The league does not make available coaches. Parents are encouraged to volunteer to coach. Please contact the league for more information.
  • Will there be scheduled practices?: Playing time is not dictated by a child’s participation in practice. The head coach will determine frequency and timing of practice, if any.
